On the 2nd of February, Piet Holtrop delivered a key note speech at this conference, which was organized by the Comunidad de Riegos del Alto Aragón CRAA(Alto Aragón Irrigation Community). CRAA is the largest irrigation community of the European Union, in terms of surface, and is a community of communities: the local irrigation communities are all grouped together in this large regional community. Our was engaged by CRAA, to create a Renewable Energy Community, and Piet's speech explained how this will work in practice.
One of the other keynote speakers was Luis Narvarte, Director of the PV programme of South Campus of the Polytechnical University of Madrid, who explained the JALON project, which has received a Life Grant from the European Union. Our firm is project partner of JALON, in the section Mission of our website you can find further information about this project. We got to know each other during a different advisory engagement of our firm, when we designed and helped incorporating the Renewable Energy Community of the South Campus of the Polytechnical University of Madrid.
After the different keynotes were delivered, all speakers sat together and debated with the public.
