Anna Rigol i Roset

Anna graduated from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra law school in 1995, and since then has focused her practice in public law with an emphasis on environmental law and public contracting. She speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French and studied a Masters in Public Management as ESADE, UAB and UPF, in addition to participating in the Vicens Vives program run by ESADE.

After more than 10 years in the firm Menéndez & Abogados Asociados –most recently as partner – she has joined our firm with the intention of becoming a partner. She has previously been general counsel for the autonomous government’s Games and Betting Agency, a corporate entity formed by the Interior Ministry of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and in-house counsel for the CESPA Group (AGBAR / FERROVIAL), amongst others, and has also worked in a number of professional firms.

Anna has extensive experience in environmental and public contracting matters, especially with respect to environmental evaluations and urban planning; specifically, non-urban land. In the renewables sector, Anna has worked on hydroelectric projects, modifications to the same, criminal sanctions, the expiry of authorizations and the return of assets, administrative authorizations regarding admission to the retributive register, etc.
