Significant cuts in FIT for Wind energy and CSP Spain:

RD1614/2010 enters into force on the 9th of December 2010.

CSP first year market price

CSP technology will have to sell its production in the option of article 24.1.a) of RD661/2007 during the first year. This means that this technology is not allowed to sell at market price plus bonus.

Reference value for Windenergy FIT is lowered by 35%

The reference value to which article 27 of RD661/2010 refers, is lowered by 35%. This FIT will be applicable between January 1st 2011 and December 31st 2011.

installations still using the FIT of RD436/2004 under the first transitional clause of RD661/2007 are not affected by this change.
